All payments for international students are done in cash.
The deposit is 3000 CZK, paid once on your arrival and returnable right before you leave.
First month you will pay the rent just from the days after you’ve arrived, for example:
you came the 15th of September so you’ll pay from 15th to the 30th of September = 15 days.
Then you’ll pay every month the same rent depending on the type of your room:
The rent is payed every month from 10th to 25th at the secretariate of the residential halls.
The washing machine – Pračka
The residential halls have 3 washing machines on the 2nd, 4th
and 8th floor.
You can borrow the key (means the washing machine) at the
reception for the price of 20 crowns. You need your
own detergents. The receptionist will hold your card until you return the key.
Iron – Žehlička
You can borrow the iron for free. Ask at the reception. You can
choose dry iron or steam iron. The receptionist will hold your card until you return it back.
Sheeting – Povlečení
The sheets are changed every 3 weeks. The exact date and hours
are at the notice board in front of the reception (ENG) or on each

They will give you the clear sheets only for exchange for the
used one, so bring it with you, tell them your name and the
number of your room.

Get off the tram at Moravská
You have to announce your date of departure at the secretariate at least 1 week in advance!
You´ll receive a Move out card – an employee will check your room before you leave and
sign this card. Fill it (name, surname, room number, date and your signature) and give it to the
receptionist or secretary while leaving the residential hall also with your key, residential card
and sheets (you’ll sign the hand over of the sheet).
You’ll receive your deposit as well.

ALWAYS SHOW YOUR RESIDENTIAL CARD TO THE RECEPTIONIST WHILE
ENTERING THE RESIDENTIAL HALLS.
ALL VISITORS (PERSONS LIVING OUT OF THE RESIDENTIAL HALLS) MUST BE
REPORTED AT THE RECEPTION.
